Osh gosh, I love this comic… I’m actually thinking Her in my head when thinking about it and I don’t know what Her normal voice is like, but the one I have in my head is silky sometimes.
Just a moment of curiosity, considering the uncomfortable scene 343; Would the fact that Ally IS technically working as a member of the media and covering the Con something that could affect her visa if she didn’t apply appropriately?
In all seriousness, I don’t know if it’s my own nerves based on projecting my own fears and insecurities on Ally, or the way you’ve been guiding us through this trip with your on-point storytelling (probably both if I’m being honest), but of all the web-comics that I try to keep up with, this is the one I feel most connected to, and anticipate reading each week. <3
Well, technically, if she didn’t apply properly, about the most that could realistically be done is her removal. What is more likely, again, assuming she didn’t apply properly (and there’s nothing to suggest she didn’t do it right), and she’s caught, is that there will simply be a note, and she’ll be either subject to more scrutiny on future attempts to enter the country, or she’d be tagged persona non grata for some period. Likely for this, nothing would happen, though.
Good to know! Thanks!
Well, several years ago, we had that with a Piping Judge here in the states. He’s a well known judge from Canada. He was crossing the border to judge at a highland games here in the states, and CBP determined he was going to be working illegally. They banned him from entry for 10 years. That also really screwed over the games, as they had to scramble to find a 2nd piping judge for the bands, and rearrange the competition for the solos.
