Okay so like what’s wrong with somebody liking attention? What’s wrong with people who make cosplaying their passion//career?
I mean by far not the case of throwing people under the bus done by this comic. Let’s not forget completely shitting on the work of trans activists on page 4 just as the earliest example I can think of.
*by far not the first case of throwing
We’re not trying to shit on anyone. If anything we present has made you think, or caused a reaction either way, then great, you would pass the Voight-Kampff Empathy Test. We are not going for a perfect score here. We are not trying trying to achieve “true trans” whatever that is. Our main character has many different thoughts and throughout the course of the comic has grown. As for cosplayers, I have no issue with anyone making a career out of it. But I will say some (key word) might come across as just doing it for a buck without any element of pure love for the artform. Ally was just noticing that Piper really seems to have that passion inside of her.
I think your comics speak well enough for themselves.
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
This comic was actually theraputic for me in some ways. Im a transgirl and my friend referred me to this
